What can I expect after treatment?

There are no specific restrictions post procedure.  Patients go back to work and other activities without “down-time”.  Patients are advised to continue skin care and good sun protection. It is normal to have some redness, tingling, or tenderness over the treated area.  This is tupically minimal to mild in intensity and lasts from several days to several weeks. Bruising can happen, but is not common. Avoiding aspirin, Ibuprofen, Naprosyn, fish oil, flaxseed oil, garlic, and/or ginko supplements (all of which promote bruising) ten days before treatment can minimize the chance of bruising.
